Jango Radio - Streaming Music App Reviews

I cant search for a specific artist on the "create new station" page. It says to enter the name of any artist to start a new station but theres literally no place to type.

I have been using Jango for a few years now. I got to say this is way better than pandora or any other music streaming service I have used. Best part....its free! I have never run into ads using this app and the only "interruption" I get is when they ask me to check out an independent artist and rate them. Unlimited skips, music progressively gets better as it learns what songs you like. Hands down my favorite music streaming app. If you were hesitant on downloading this, dont be.

Jango is an overall quality radio app with excellent variety. The only thing I dont like is the user interface. It feels a little archaic in my opinion and could take a few hints from major competitors to make it feel a little more personal. Also the images are grainy photos of the artists where it should be much clearer and be cover art of the albums they tracks are released in.

I have been sticking with pandora for years because its easy since I have all my stations set up already... but today I was having trouble with the app and randomly found this. It works great, has music I like, and isnt anything fancy but doesnt stop for ads all the time which kind of makes me like it more than pandora! Im impressed. Give it a try.

It keeps cutting off in the middle of the song and going to the next.... finding a replacement

I did not like this app. Granted, I only used it for a few minutes, but I could tell I wouldnt enjoy it. Many of the reviewers here say its better than Pandora, but I have used Pandora for quite a while, and on Pandora, you can actually see your likes and also choose to unlike them. Yes, the ads are annoying, but I would rather use a good-quality radio with annoying ads than a bad-quality radio that doesnt even use real album covers. Jango literally just uses bad photos of the artists. I wouldnt recommend it. Im not advertising Pandora here, just advising to use something better than this.

When locking the phone or when the phone sleeps, the music pauses and will not resume on the lock screen.

The music now stops playing when not actively in the app or when the phone is closed. This is awful and needs to be changed back. I will be looking for a new radio app until then.

Everytime I listen to a station it says error and you have to skip a song even you do not want to skip it. Hopefully it can be fixed because this is a good app and I have been using it for years ! -Kay

I have been listening to Pandora all the time and this App made a huge difference,i like it and Pandora just lost one more listener

No interruptions, great sound quality(which you can change if you have connection problems/wanna save data), great selection, & easy to use user interface. 10/10

The best Ive downloaded so far! No commercial, thumbs up & down songs actually work, and plenty of browsing material if you just dont know exactly what to listen to! Pandora, Spotify—youve been replaced! Now add some offline streaming and this would be perfect!

This is no doubt the absolute best most awesome radio app that Ive found. And Ive been looking for a good one for over 4 years! Just music from musicians you choose with no interruptions! The app will add similar music to the genre or person you chose. If I want to listen to the Rolling Stones I will get the Stones and more musicians like them or I can choose to add more from a list that pops up. This morning I added Jim Croce to James Taylor. Nice! This is honestly the best radio app evah!

I dont understand the reason why this app has almost no reviews, this is way better than pandora, free skips, no commercials,...

I love having so many options, no ads interrupting, and no skip limit. However, I wish there was a way to share the songs on Facebook.

I usually dont leave reviews, but I noticed that this app had one review and no ratings... I was very disappointed in seeing that, and knowing that Pandora has much notice, even though its starting to sound like an FM radio station with all the commercial! I love Jango, no commercials, free song skips, add artist to a playlist! Download Jango, and you wont open the box to Pandora again!

I am loving this app. Great station lists and you can build custom stations. The streaming quality options are great for data plan users, and love the no commercials. I would gladly pay to remove the banner adds.

Didnt have the music I wanted. And why do you want to know my gender and only provide two options?
